Unmarked destroyer opinions needed

Can anyone tell me about the finish on this? It is not like the matte finish on the HSF badge. It has a soft gloss, like it's been laquered. There are no bright, shiny spots,even on the high relief areas, like wear spots. Has anybody observed this? Last, any ideas as to the maker? Thanks! Charlie

I sent it to Detlev and got a COA(good), but still, I wondered if anyone has seen these with a laquer coating of some sort? Thank you for your reply, Segmund!! Charlie

I finally figured this one out-a nice unmarked GWL! Does anyone know what the dark areas under the waves are caused by? Dark lacquer perhaps? Charlie

Yes, the sea was propably lacquered dark gray.
