E boat badge AS Opinions???

the reverse is some idiot removed everything on the backside. One can clearly see that a saw was used to cut away the pin and catch.
The owner of the badge did it to glue the badge onto a piece of camouflage tissue and display it in a frame.
can anyone be more stupid....
