Hi Guys here' s one i picked up at a local show. Was covered in zinc pest which worried me a little, and the wreath had lost some alot of its colour but after a bit of tender loving care i dont think it has come out to badly, although i have to say that thought i could save more of the wreath colour. What do you guys think.

Reverse also had Zinc pest, hinge catch and Right on the MM .You can still see it alittle on the MM but on the whole i was pleased. Had a big when it came out of the Vaseline after two days . thanks for the help Frank

This time with pin down. Have to say I have been looking for one of these for quite awhile now. Looks worse in the pics than it does in the hand, but you can see where the zinc pest was.

Great badge and hard to find! RS&S is my favorite design for HSF badges. Very unique front design, hinge, pin and catch set-ups. Nice find.

the last shot. Thanks for the comments guys . You were quick, I love the design to these too like you say eagle, hinge and catch set these awards above the other HSF, at least for me. Pleased with this one has been a long quest

I think you did a great job in removing that rot. Bad looks fine, you can hardly see a trace anymore.

Hi Guys thanks for the comments , was pleased with the way the award turned out in the end, nearly passed on it but in the end i thought what the hell, nothing ventured nothing gained. As for finding another one
think I'll just stick with this one or i might go on a quest with Indianna jones in search of the lost tombs of the Incus it would be quicker than finding another one of these. All the best
