I believe these are very good reproduction pieces in a reproduction case. The even block letters on the reverse are the first indication of a problem. The glare prevents some other observations, but the maker's mark is enough to judge this one. John

Thats what threw me off,,the block letters...It seems to me also a damn good repro piece.

It still is just a "I think" until non-glare images of the obverse and reverse are available. There is still hope perhaps that the badge is OK. John

It seems a bit to crisp for me,,and the lettering. Just going with a gut feel.

I don't know, it looks pretty good to me allowing for the flash and the angle the photo is taken. I don't see anything particularly wrong with the lettering at first glance. What concerns you?

I just think the glare made the letters look straighter than they really are.
Non-flash straight on shot I think would reveal that the letters are correct for a good badge.

If you look closely I don't think they are straight, just a poor photo.
