Minesweepers Badge Opinions

Hi Guys,
Picked this Minesweeper Badge up today.
Thinking it might be Tombak and maker Deumer, but would appreciate your opinions.
Waves at bottom seem to be at different heights, is this normal?

Hi Mike,

Nice Minesweeper! You are partly correct, it is in fact Deumer, but it is zink. Typically, Deumer zink MS badges have the horizontal banjo style pin setup and the earlier tombak ones have the vertical needle pin. Also, the catch and top hook have a plate to create a larger area for the solder to adhere to the reverse of the badge, a hallmark of zink badges. Tombak badges rarely have these plates as there was no need for it on the higher quality metal.

Pleased with the badge, even though it is zink, a lot of the finish still remains.
