Thoughts on this R.S. Auxillary Cruiser badge

This badge came to me with a group of badges recently. The others have all been good but I'm not sure on this one. I've never had any Kriegsmarine badges so I must ask for help. Here are a few pictures. Thanks.

Hi Jim sorry to say I have my doubts about this award. Firstly the globe detail looks a little soft (is that the pics?). Also the catch is very high up, and not what i would expect to see. Eagle however looks good. As for the reverse, hinge and pin look good, although the marks on the hinge look a little too heavy. Really dont know what to make of this. Would have to say the reverse wreath detail also seems to lack the curves of the wreath. As for the mm I am more used to the Angular form. A more straight on shot might help. Lets see what others make of it.

I agree with mrg that the globe looks alittle soft. But the badge does show characteristics of a Souval. The MM is the less encountered round letters but I still think that further review form other members will give you more of an answer. I think the badge might be okay.

It shows RS characteristics but I would be wary and tend towards repro.

Hi Jim sorry to say I think that is where the award belongs, just too much wrong im afraid. As for the globe detail is far too soft for this maker. Hope it did not cost you much.
