Hello guys,
I saw a fake Minesweeper identical to the one shown two weeks ago in an antique shop in Peoria, AZ. It was for sale along with a bad Destroyers badge, and one of those Juncker SW 68 Pilot badges.

Carefully compare the two and you will see the one on the left, the good badge, has somewhat irregular letters, while the bad badge on the right, the letters are perfectly even and the font slightly off. Since you are new, you might not be aware of the excellent research articles on the forum. Go to the Association area and follow it through until you find the articles on these naval badges--there are two of them. This will help you out very much in the future. So, look to the lower right of the page, click on wehrmact-awards.com, then go to the association only section, then find the articles. There is quite a bit more in here, so it is worth the initial effort to work your way through the links to find everything.
