Coastal Artillery badge fake or good?

just found this one and i'm not sure about it. It looks different from the known fake with the ball eye and it seems to match up with the L/21 design.......

looks like a casting to me and the hardware setup is unknown.

Hi Have to say dont like the look of the reverse set up, finish or the look of the metal. Casting i would say . But you have to agree the detail is getting better and better. Any chance of a side on view?

Hey... bad new´s I don´t like it too! The waves over the cliff aren´t sharp like the other ca- badges i had seen since I´m a "collector" of that pieces! (The only ones that i have where a Juncker and a Schwerin Berlin)

I've never seen one with the gilt on the reverse except for a little spill over here and there and never the hinge pin and catch with the gilt as well

Not true for other makers. There are golden reverse Aurichs, Junckers and Souvals.

I agree that the badge in question looks terrible.

thanks to all. My feeling was right to put this in the trash corner.

This badge is for sale in a well known online auction house in germany.

Whta would be the fake look like within the nex 10 years? When i look back 10 years fakes were easy to spot, but today the challenge is getting harder
