Regarding refinishing of Schwerin zinc badges this one is a good example of what I look for in a badge with original finish. That being the tone of colour of the overspill on the reverse matches that on the front of the wreath.

Yes, very similar to the one I recently sold. I agree with the others, a typical gold tone for the late Schwerin.
