    Minesweeper Badge

    Hello:

Does anyone have any thoughts on this minesweeper badge?

Is it an authentic unmarked example, and if so does anyone have an idea on who the maker might be?

Thanks for taking a look and sharing your impression.

    Dennis

I thought I'd bring this back to the top to see if any of you can shed some light on this minesweeper.

          Happy Holidays.

Hi Dennis just a few points i have noted, reverse set up looks good, the metal reverse looks a little suspicious the mark that the pin has left on the underneath of the metal looks a little silverish to me as does the reverse outline of the wreath. Is that the pics? Any chance of a Close none blurred pic of the eagle? Have to add that the exploding water lacks the sharp edges you see on most minesweepers but not all i hasten to add, but again that could be just the pics. Close up of eagle and feet would be nice. I would learn towards Ok if the above is down to the pics. All the best

Thanks for your reply. I'll try to come up with some better images and will take a harder look under magnification at some of the details you mentioned. I appreciate you checking it out.

              Regards, Dennis

Hi dennis no problem, whilst you have got your glass out check the hinge pin, is there a gap or is it just solid. Also check does the hinge look as if it has a location mark on the award itself. Interesting I hope others chip in with comments. All the best
