Just starting my collection and I have yet to buy anything from eBay for fear of fakes. From my research this looks fake. Opinions please. Anyinfo on good places to get authentic quality pieces would be appreciated. I am looking for a good condition gold U-Boat badge and a silver u-Boat clasp

I am no expert either but this one is 100% a bad one From what I know Fredrich Orth never had vertical pins and (most visible) the FO mark is not right. Better return it and get your money back
