    RS&S High Seas Fleet Badge

    Hello:

I picked this up recently. It is not anywhere near mint, but seems to be an honest piece that is in need of the Vasoline "lube and tune".

Yeah...it's a little worn but it looks to me like an authentic piece. IMO, the "RS&S" HSF is the best designed HSF. I love the unique design of the eagle and the specialized hinge, pin and catch.

Hi Dennis looks like a nice worn original to me , and quite hard to find. Been looking for one of these for awhile now, and when ever i come across them im always broke . All the best

I'd agree that it's good. It's not that bad a condition to be honest as these do seem to lose the finish on the wreath. I think it's not worn but just more aged by the looks.

There's a couple of variations I believe in these too.

Arh no need for me to comment Lorenzo's answered. I am correct there is two type in the RS&S HSF ?

You probably saw this but the first two pic's are a fake RS&S for you to compare.

                    Marcus:

The fake you posted the link to is one I associate with the "Cave Creek" string of fakes. The one I picked up was the 1st one I was able to find with the correct setup.

Thanks for bringing that link into this thread....it might save someone some money as I have seen many of those at the shows.
