    HSF Badge Opinions Please

    Hi,

    I'm posting these images of a HSF Badge for a colleague. He would like some additional opinions on it.

        First off i would like to thank Mike for posting this for me.Also just to let you know it not quite as shinny on the reverse as the picks show.Any and all opinions are appreciated.Thanks Jay

            Too many question marks, IMO:

            1) Tombak badge but "zinc" type hinge
            2) strange maker mark (I am almost sure I have seen it on another fake)
            3) up to now, not a known maker of these
            4) overall texture and finish suggest "cast fake"

                  I do not see anything at all that looks good for this badge; material, hardware, finish, poor details, and we cant forget the mm.

                  A cast copy of a Schwerin IMHO trying to be something else entirely.
