    Hi Philippe,

Thanks for the photos and information. Do you mean nail polish or nail polish remover?

    Thanks,
    Lee

      Hi Philippe,
Sorry for the stupid question. I was pretty sure you meant remover, but being new at this, I started to convince myself that perhaps nail polish has some magical properties that would raise the post war paint. Did any of these badges have gold metallic paint? It is kind of hard to describe and I am a simpleton when it comes to taking photos. The scan of the front is probably the best to reflect actual finish. I primarily collect helmets and just pick-up a few badges now and then. I do not look for excellent quality or rare makers, I just like some as representative examples. That is why I do not mind if the pins, catches or rears have been messed. I look for good, original obverse examples display. Thanks for your help with this one.

      Regards,
      Lee

Hi Lee, this badge has already been discussed on the forum and I based my description on what I was told by various members on the forum. See thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=badge+torsten

I trust that you are happy with the badge... Cheers, Torsten.
