Minesweepers Badge Opinions Please

Hello gentlemen,

I was going through some stuff and I have way to much stuff. And I found this Minesweepers Badge at first glance it looked alright, but to tell you the truth I really do not care for the adler, kind of has that pot bellied eagle want to be look. The piece is unmarked and the catch has been damaged, crunched for lack of a better word. Any input would be appriciated.

Hi,

Nothing screams repro about this badge to me. I think it is OK. The eagle's on some KM badges are quite plain and some (Schwerin 1st pattern E-boat) are plain ugly. As the badge is unmarked, it's difficult to compare with a known maker. The hinge/pin/catch construction look authentic and the way the main pin is bend and worn I think is a hard combination to reproduce.
