FYI; I may be interested in moving the zinc one down the road as I really do not get into zinc items that much. It did come with a paper packet of issue with the red LDO stamp and warning stamp on the reverse.

reverse: even if it looks as if it was not the case, pin and catch are magnetic.

best I can do on the maker´s mark: straight, strict lettering with dots after each letter, same as on RK´s PAB.

Here's the maker's mark on my zinc badge.

The one on the tombak badge is actually placed higher up, almost at the tip of the explosion.

If memory serves me correctly, my zinc badge also has the magnetic pin/hinge and (catch?).

Dear Tony,

My explanation would be the same as in the Assmann Minesweeper thread. Plus, the maker´s mark was different than in the two valid types shown here.

But I pulled the pic, since it is just my opinion and I realize it is dangerous to impose that opinion on collectors who may not be able yet to form their own. Sorry about the confusion.
