    "Possible U-boat cap pin"

Hello, I have had this pin for some time now, I have done a lot of research to find out what the pin design actually is....
What I have found out is it is the "Coat of Arms" for Hammerfest Norway. I then learned that Hammerfest Norway and a couple other ports were one of the Top U-boat / Ship service ports for the 11th, 13th and 14th Flotillas serving in the Atlantic Artic region.
Quite a number of U-boats painted the "Coat of Arms" on their conning towers to represent different respects, such as where they were stationed out of, or the town / township of a respected Commander umong others...
Here is a couple of pics.. Any helpful input is appreciated.,,,,, also a link to a sight with great information on U-boats....

P.S. The maker is David Anderson, has made jewelry and military pins for Norway, Britan and a few other countries..
