Can't comment on the mini but the badge looks perfectly fine to me in every way for a 2nd pattern Schwerin.

A first pattern makes sense in the 16 mm format. I don't recall ever seeing a 16 mm miniature of the 2nd pattern S-Boat? The second pattern was introduced January 1943 and the 16 mm size of mini was forbidden in July 1943, so there was only a short time to produce a legitimate one. Having said that, I suppose something could have been done after that against regulations.

Here's the 9 mm version of the 2nd pattern (not mine).
