    Rare u-boat badge

Firstly, Im new to Kriegsmarine collecting, so please excuse my ignorance. Im told this is a very rare Beco u-boat badge. From experience, I know this hobby is fraught with scammers so I would really appreciate comments on this one including value. Thank you in advance. I find it suspicious that only 2 has ever surfaced?

Andre, if I were you , I would go for a standard buntmetal/ tombak version from a generally accepted maker of uboat badges. They are not hard to find. J

            Hi Andre,
All what we know about this badge was already said in the thread provided by Jelle. I have nothing to add.
This is very rare and interesting u-boat variant but as for now there is still a slight risk it could be made early post war.
My personal opinion is it was early wartime produced. It is very interesting piece for u-boat variant collector but if you plan to have just few of them then there are surely better choices out there like Schwerin, Juncker, Schickle, Deumer, P&L, S&L, Hymmen or Meybauer.
            Cheers,
            Hubert

I agree with Hubert. Great badge for the serious u-boat collector. If you want only one pick another maker.
              Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.
