U Boat badge FO well worn or a bad one?

I have seen this badge by FO could it be a well worn example or a fake made to look worn? I would appreciate any opinions..

Hi Rick,

Seems to me like a fair price. That is about $170 U.S. Dollars. It is hard to find an original U-boat Badge for under $200.
