I recently posted a FJ Badge I obtained from the son of a vet. I was quickly told it was not original. I have this Schwerin Boat Badge from the same source.
Opinions ? I have a few other items from the same source I will post to determine if they are real. Obviously one bad badge taints the whole lot !

Absolutely original! One thing to look for is that faint diagonal line on the lower reverse.
