mm. Sorry guys but that as close i can get. Under a glass you can just make out the bottom of the w. What you see on top looks like an overspill of solder. All opinions welcome.

Looks like a good one to me. Also saw one of these lately but not sure if it had been refinished as it was very "bright"

Hi guys thanks for the comments, picked this up at a local show, a couple of people had put it down saying it was a fake. Got a realy good deal, almost half price think the dealer had lost a little faith in it. Must admit i was n't to sure myself at first until i raced home to check my files. Asked a couple of dealers at the show who said it had had its pin shortened catch moved to suit. That realy installed confidence but i knew they were wrong. Or should i say hoped. I can rest easy now. Thanks guys.

Hi Rob forgot to say this award is also a little bright, which was another of my concerns, but i think that is down to the award being highly polished at some time. Can see no evidence of a refinsh and at certain points there is wear and you can see signs of the zinc coming through. All the best

Nice, and pretty hard to find Wernstein. Don´t you just love it when everybody tells a dealer that a badge is fake and you can then pick it up for a fraction of the price.
