    New high end Juncker fakes

    Hi Guys,
Here are two dangerous fakes of Juncker tombak Auxiliary Cruiser and Juncker tombak Minesweeper. Both apparently came from the same workshop and I have never seen such fakes before. Minesweeper is a scary fake IMO that may fool even a well trained eye... Both fakes share same cast main pin and same slightly wrong catch. Both feature sligthly weak details on the obverse.
    Cheers,
    Hubert

The Minesweeper is such well made fake that it is very hard to tell from these images but when you upload a high resolution images which are available at Weitze site (for registered users) and blow them then lack of detail and other red flags are visible.
      Cheers,
      Hubert

Hi Hubert. Thank you for the head up! The casting line on the pin is clearly visible there. Next is the crack next to the eagle on the minesweeper what is definitely a feature which fakers did not want to produce.

          Hi Joseph,
This crack made me think a lot since wreath cracks are commonly seen on Juncker tombak KM badges and result from stamping cutouts with a trimming die. But th crack on this fake minesweeper is different and it looks like the casting was not cooled sufficiently before it was removed from the mold?
          Cheers,
          Hubert

They still have not made anywhere close to the correct finish.
              Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

The minesweeper is still on the site for sale, the cruiser badge is gone

Trust in dealer does not mean that he will offer and sell only original items since this is simply not possible for many reasons. Trust in dealer means that he unconditionally accepts returns in case the item turns out to be bad. And Weitze is a trusted dealer in this sense IMO, no question about it. Great high resolution images that he provides are very helpful. I've been dealing with Weitze many times and was always satisfied with service his company provides.
                            Cheers,
                            Hubert

Hi, without unconditional return, you shouldn't buy anything, it didn't exist in the past, that's fine today, and we have the forum today, because it always helps.
Greetings in not so good times Lothar
