Hi all,

Picked this badge up today as a surprise with a small collection of Canadian hat badges and jackets. I was wondering who made this pattern of badge as it is not marked. The badge appears in good condition with nice coloration, and is unmarked on the reverse- pin and fastener are in good working condition. The badge has a surprising amount of detail on the viking and longboat, smirking eagle and lower globe design. Any help greatly appreciated!

I think the white residue in the deeper parts is indeed cleaning paste.

Very nice pick up seems quite a few of these for some reason or another made it back to Canada. I have come across a good number of these over the years all vet bring backs.
Thanks for showing and yes that is probably cleaning paste in the crevices.
