    HJ sleeve badge

    Hello Friends

I just got a small group of german medals and insignia.
In the group was this sleeve badge. My reference book just
says that it is a "General DJ (Allgemeine-DJ)" C. 1943.

Can someone, add any more information concerning this badge?
Is it just a common piece of insignia with little value?

    Any help appreciated and thanks.

    Best regards
    Ken

      Hi Ken,

I picked one of these up the other day, from Germany, for EUR 16.00. This is about £11 or $20.

      Regards,

      Kevin

        Thanks for your reply.
I don't have much in this piece, so I'm ok , value wise.

          Hj patch

          Ken,
This a patch that identified a member of HJ by District (Oberbann).
Yours is for Oberbann 1 . Now you only need 5 more District's and a Leaders patch to finish the set. This one is common ,as this was to be used on all uniforms in that District. It is still worth collecting.Regards, Mitch

Great info, Mitch. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

These things are not my "cup of tea" so to speak, but interesting
            all the same.

            Best regards
            Ken

                Hi Brad

                Thanks for your reply.
That's a really nice set you have. And a very colorful display.
I know very little about these so I suppose I'll have to start studying.

                Best regards
                Ken
