      I believe it’s a sports shirt insignia for the student organization.

        I did some more searching around and found this organization associated with the patch : National Socialist Deutscher Studentenbund or National Socialist German Students League or NSDStB for short....

          Lots of fakes of this insignia. The fakes have red areas in the swastika. With originals this area is orange.
