National Socialist Students’ Union (NSDSt.B). This is the emblem for sports shirts. The closeness to the SS eagle was undoubtedly purposeful as most of the lads from this organization that was established at the Munich University went on to be SS officers.

Do you have any idea about how many universities there were in Germany?
Do you know how much Kameradschaften existed at these institutions?
                        I doubt?

The so-called Adler-Raute des NSDStB was official with order FO 27/38.
It was allowed to be worn with the sports-dress with order FO 13/38, actually
upon a 9.0 cm black band over the shirt. The tips of the diamond at the sides
should touch the lower edge of the black band.
I would like to remember there do exist many excellent fakes of this symbol.
Maybe it is the photograph, but the red is not the correct color.
