Did the HJ have Bass Drums

Here is a bass drum I ran across at a antique store, looks dead on for an HJ drum but did they have bass drums? There are no marks on it that I could find

Looks like a standard HJ or Herr drum from what I see..:

Thanks! Is it worth 100.00 ?

I'm not sure whether or not this is a 'regulation' drum--I know the snare drums' bodies were made of brass (or aluminum, depending on the organization) but since this one appears to be made of wood throughout, it could be a drum that anyone could buy at a music store. For only $100.00, if it's a large base drum (can't tell the size), it would make an interesting display item.
