hmm, the "Blut und Ehre!" slogan is strongly worn while the engraving on the back is in pristine condition???

Also all the paint is removed from the scabbard. I would pass. Possibly a well worn piece that is up graded with a post war engraving.

- The rivets are not original: reverse side clearly shows that these have been messed with...
- The diamond insignia should be the small version on this mottoed double marked Tiger.

etching plön is in my opinion original. the inscription and the blade from the other side is obviously ungrounded. adding more photos + link to the same knife

That's a lot of pictures people but some boys back then, despite it being against the rules, liked to have shiny scabbards and it is documented. They also like to carry their knives at jaunty angles which was not allowed but still they did it and for many years some boys, particularly in the Jungvolk carried knives that were around before Hitler farted in his first trench. Some people forget the origins of the HJ. This was not a movement forged out of nazism. It already existed. Hitler knew that and harnessed it.
