      Ciao Carlo,

Very nice original with nice frosted finish remaining.

The maker is RK from Gablonz. As Nicolas says, it is commonly thought to be Rudolf Karneth, but there were other makers located in Gablonz with the initials RK, specifically Robert Kriesel, etc. Whoever the maker was, nice example.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        A nice one.

Tom, I was waiting for you to call it a Karneth so you could get Bruce stirred up when he looks at this thread. Calling these Karneths is better than a cup of coffee to get his blood flowing!

Bruce, don't get upset, just messing with you, though I'm 99% sure they are made by Karneth!

Hehe, I like to mix it up every now and then and keep Bruce on his toes

                  Hi Carlo

One of the best looking examples I have seen

You mentioned "pillow" but "pillow crimp" IABs are a different design.

                  Hi Dale

That is funny, but at least Bruce and some of us have managed to get you down from 100%

                  cheers

                    Total agreement.
The truth be told, collecting wouldn't be as much fun without you gents around to liven things up.
We're not always on the same page, but we've accepted one another just the same.
And yes, threads such as these have been known to get the ol blood flowing.
                    Much better than caffeine.

                    Happy collecting!

                        Hi toot

If you mean the gap between the rifle and the swastika, the gap is normal.

If you mean were the arms of the swastika ever cut out on this particular design, they were not.

Please be more specific if you feel the badge has an issue.

                        regards
                        Graeme
