    Newby Needs Help

    Hello. I Am Brand New To Collecting And Have Been Watching The Site For A Few Months. Just Became Member In April. My Question Is, Are There Any Research Books That List And Show Pics Of The Different Makers And The Clasp And Pin Set Ups For All? I Would Like To Start On War Badges And Accept For What I See On The Site I Have No Idea. It Would Seem There Would Be Some Books Out There With Pics Of Examples Of All Badge Makers And This Info. Thanks, Robert

    Detlev - NieMann: Price Guide 1871-1945, 2004 edition! Good book to start with it...Good luck!

      You'll find through 'using search' that this is more comprehensive then any books...and our information is more up to date!

      A nice book with great pics and a wide variety of badges is by clicking on the 'sponsors' page and going to Windsore book......"German Combat Badges of the Third Reich"

      also bender books may have some books of interest, and soon to be released book(of a series) by our own Frank H. only on the GAB...
