Panzer Assault Badge i. Silver-for review

I would like to get your opinion about the originality of this Panzer Assault Badge in Silver, manufactured by Frank & Reif. It looks like the Type 4.2.1, "Low" Marker Mark, as per book of Philippe de Bock.

On my badge, catch is placed on the little round plate, while on the example in the book it is located on the elongated one. I hope, it is not a red flag. Also, obverse of my piece looks "very new". Hinge, pin and catch are not magnetic.

Would say it s a nice low maker round catch plate, wait for other opinions

It looks OK to me. The catch itself is the correct shape and wire thickness we see on wartime badges, and there are no solder marks or anything that would suggest a repair or replacement. So I think it is fine, I wouldn't be too concerned about a different catchplate, especially on later-war zink badges were the materials vary more and more as the war progressed due to supply issues.
