    New PAB arrivals

Ok PAB buddies, here are three badges that I was lucky enough to obtain for my collection. Untill today all I had were their silver brothers. I'am pretty damn happy with the new arrivals considering they are all zincer's! First up is a seven wheel first pattern.

Here is a R.R.S. It seems that the bronzes did not hold their finish any better than the silver ones. I forgot to mention this has the more detailed grass pattern.

I saved the best for last. Here is the bronze R.K. that I have been in search of for such a long time.

              Hi Chet,

Very nice! Why is the Rudolf Richter bronze? Is there some bronze finish left? Looks like the fittings are silver-finished.

              Regards,
              Greg

Its probably just the picture as I have had many badges that looked silver until I had it in my hands, but your right the picture posted makes it lokk like a silver finish

                    Greg,
Initally I thought the same as I had returned a so called bronze one more than a year ago to a seller. The scans do not show it but there are bronze areas about the reverse and too a far lesser degree to the obvers. The shiney spots you see on the obverse are only points of the badge that were exposed to wear.

                            Hello Chet,
Some very nice additions to your PAB collection All three are quite hard to come by especially the bronze RK! I've only seen one bronze RRS for sale and it had a badly replaced catch. I can't wait to find a seven wheel PAB for my little collection.
                            Sincerely..Dan
