These two are also interesting to see together. Two Schauerte's. Note the striking difference in appearance. If you look at the flaw at the right driving light, you can see that both badges come out of the same die. Brothers!

Beautiful pieces Jelle. Designwise the Juncker is the nicest for me but I will pick the S&H in this thread because of the beautiful patina

Hi Jelle,

Both gorgeous in their own way.

The S&H has a great contrast to it with the yellow brass versus the white silver finish. The patina is also great.

The Juncker design is better IMO, and really nice wear and patina on this one.

Both just great examples of early PABs.

For me the Juncker will always be special. But the S&H with that patina is killer as well. Eye candy

Love the look of both. The austere look of the Juncker and the beauty of the S/H. Having a hard time to choose.

For my own curiosity and education: can the same die result in such large differences in the main gun?

All them are nice badges to keep, but S&H with tombak traces has most impressive look.
