Multiple Army, Air Force & Navy Stickpins

I recently purchased a small collection from a friend who stopped collecting twenty years ago and had been collecting since the 1970s. Among the collection were these Army, Air Force and Navy stickpins. All have spiral pins and are of good quality. To me, these stickpins all appear to be original. If anyone thinks some are not original, I would appreciate it if you would point them out. If you want to see close up photos of any of the stickpins, just ask.

Barry, the half-size BB is IMO no good. I would really love to see some close-ups of the IAB/Krim-combo, obv. and rev.

Barry, thanks for the close-ups. Most of the minis look fine to me, with a few exceptions i.g resoldered and questionable origin. As a personal preference, I'm allergic to the presence of the circular mark (St&L), given their post-war activities.


The IAB/Krim is an enigma as far as I'm concerned, all 16mm two-piece combos I've encountered (but never handeled) have consisted of a Krim or U-Boat. In fact, I've even seen that specific combo.


The BB is of course a dud, the knurling on the pin is hilarious. The same goes for the Ostmed, only seen one in Messing's catalogue that seemed plausible.
