Looks like an original unmarked Brehmer

I don't think it's a badge made by Brehmer or Juncker that we're used to seeing. It is different from one and the other. Another stamp?

Hi guys,

Definately not a Brehmer, nor Juncker. Actually doesn't match any known design, but closest I can find is Steinhauer & Luck. The wide blood gutter and eagle's face and acorn tips, etc. are all a pretty close match to S&L but not exactly the same.

Honestly I don't like the look of it; the swastika is mis-shapen, the tip of the bayone is mis-shapen, the base metal looks very rough, the head of the grenade is sloppy, the reverse hardware is similar to wartime but not exactly correct as if someone was trying to copy it but didn't get it exactly right, etc. To me it looks like the badge was designed with a computer program and then roughly produced so the edges are very sharp but still with poorly formed shapes.

Intersecting Thomas, the thing that convinced me was the hardware on the rear. The soldering is usually a give away, but it appears that they are getting better.

I tend to agree with Thomas on this one. Everything appears to be slightly thicker and some parts are quite misformed....
IMO its some sort of copy made form the Juncker design.

All though the overall appearance is decent and I would love to see it in hand for a final judgement.
