The closeups of the obverse certainly look gold to me, however the reverse looks like a typical Bronze grade clasp, with no real sign of gold that I can see. That makes me wonder if the obverse pics are altered to make it look more gold than in person, certainly a clasp I would want to see in hand in natural light to make a determination.

I wonder if this clasp have been chemical cleaned?
In some areas it looks like that.
It don´t have 70 years natural patina.
