              I use the base that Philippe DB made. I myself have not closely studied this manufacturer.

                    .......The information about Rudolph Karneth as the manfacturer that used the initials RK is incorrect. The facts prove otherwise. De Bock's base is flawed.

                    We are fortunate to have as a member of these Forums a researcher/collector who is based in the Gablonz area, has studied exhaustively(and still does) the question of to whom the initials RK stand for, using all available documentation, and has to date come up with three possibilities. Possibilities. Granted, Karneth is one of those possibilities, but just that for now. It is nothing less than speculation and conjecture to claim that Rudolph Karneth = RK, or RK in a circle for that matter.
