Hi guys, thanks very much for your comments, going to use this thread to also enter this other badge for your assessment. I believe that this is a legit Adolf Scholze with excellent patina, look forward to hearing about your comments

The badge is original, but it is very oxidized on the obverse. And this may continue. I would not advise buying such a badge.

Thanks very much for your opinion, maybe this better picture will show that area you are referring to much clearer. All in all I reckon that the badge is in an overall good condition, but would like to hearing from you more in detail about that area you mention, Could that be worn areas and paint that just vanished over the years,

What you describe as "excellent patina" is nothing more than a bad case of zincpest. I'd look for another example as this is not a uncommon badge to find.

Thanks Chet, in fact that it was I suspected, forgot to add the question mark at the end of the excellent patina and worn areas. I will pass from this one then, as you say it is not an uncommon badge to find and I do not want to struggle with this pest destroying the badge over the next years
