Juncker CCC for sale - Renazified

Hi guys,


Saw this for sale on Facebook this morning and wanted to warn our collectors that it has a replaced swastika. Pics aren't the best and I have asked the seller for better closeups of the swastika area but it is a denazified clasp that has had a new swastika installed. If you look at the backplate area, you can see that it has been taken out for install the new swastika, then replaced and crimped down on the sides to hold it in place.


Careful out there guys, the repair is well done and artificially patina'd and dirtied to hide the repair.

Here is a comparison with an original untouched Juncker clasp.

Original Juncker swastikas have a somewhat concave appearance to them and notice the gaps in the swastika arms are larger on originals than on this renazified example in question. Also the connection points under the swastika are incorrect as well as the messy talons to the eagle are a classic red flag of a renazified clasp!

Be careful out there gents.
