Looks "soft" to me with artificial punch hole cracking, among other things. I'd pass on this one, but also post in the badge forum thread above. There are some real pros - lot's of variations on these.
It will probably turn out to be undersized, and the weight will be off as well.

From what I can see in the pictures this is a cast fake- look at the hinge- appears to be the same grey metal as the badge and cast as one part with it- can we see some better pictures of that area please?
The hinge should be brass same as the pin. Also there is a straight cast line visible to the right of the catch- a very bad sign coupled with the very soft details overall.Comment

I'm sorry, but the pictures do not change my initial opinion. The badge appears to be made from the wrong metal and does not appear to be a die-struck piece IMO.
I hope I am wrong and would like it to be an original for your sake, but I do not believe that it is.

The two pictures from ten years ago are no where near as good as the recent pics. The newest pictures do indicate this to be a cast fake.
