    Meybauer Condor Legion Panzer

Was finally able to add one of these to the collection! Trying to track down one of these by a maker other than the more common, but still rare, Schickle / S&L types was quite a task!

Beautiful badge Dave with the right amount of wear.
Was tempted buying this one too, where do you find one with provenance?
It's a refreshment seeing an original badge in a sea of fakes.
      Congratz!

Hi Gary, I should have really said “Attributed to Meybauer”. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think it’s actually been solidly proven outside of the hardware used on this one being identical to that of other early Meybauer produced awards. That’s where I think the link was made.

Thank you. And yes, the provenance of it linked to Knights Cross Winner “Helmut Höhno” of Schwere Panzer Abteilung 510 is another thing that pushed me to pull the trigger on it.

Hey Dave, absolutely gorgeous addition! Lovely Meybauer in nicely worn condition, very hard example to find especially with completely intact hardware like this. Nice pick up!

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
