A very nice example. What I like is that the catch is not bent over in the least. The catch on these stand relative high and many times they are bent over sideways.

      Hi guys,

Sorry to say but the pin is a replacement (not original).

Catch also looks suspect, a few closeups of it will tell us for sure.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I have not bought it yet, but please explain me Thomas- why you think that is a replacement?
I unfortunately have no other photos.

          Sure, here you go Vittmann.

The pin on yours is new, had different tool marks than original Wurster Pins and is cut incorrectly at the bottom of it.

Also, you can see two distinct marks on the reverse of the badge where the two different pins tension foot hit it. Classic red flag of a replaced pin.

I think that you should have a new name, Tom the "Eagle eye" for details

Tom, the way the pin is cut is indeed wrong as you noticed, could the entire badge be a fake? I do see the original tension foot mark however, what are your thoughts..
