Here is my bronze Wurster with a brass pin.
It also has the less commonly seen catch.

I think Wurster used white pins on bronze badges. Here are other badges for an example.

Also my opinion.
I have also dealt intensively with this combination, as I myself have an identical piece in the collection. Hard to imagine that so many "replacements" exist.
