    Rare Nahkampfspange bronce for opinions

Hi, comrades, here I show you this beautiful bronze spange from an unknown manufacturer as it appears in the book about "the close combat clasp to the Second World War" written by Mr. Thomas Durante, in which he classifies this beautiful example with the classification 1. 17 - 1 "unknown manufacturer". With its magnetic back plate as expected and a weight of 31.2 grm. quite converse and nice.
On the reverse side there is only an inscription from the period in which the decorated person in question marked with a sharp object, on the back and on the right, just inside the hook, the date 1944/45, as shown in the photo.
If anyone knows more about this very detailed and nice piece, I would appreciate you commenting. In this case, the bayonet knob attracts attention. Of design different from most of the other spange that we are accustomed to see, like JFS, AGMuK etc.
    a cordial greeting

    Manuel

      Hi Manuel,

Very nice original clasp, no doubt about it. But its not a 1.17, but rather a typical F&BL clasp. Take a close look right above the catch and you will see the tiny maker mark. Please also reference chapter 1.8 in the CCC book and you will see a perfect match to your example.

      Nice example, with appropriate inscription.

      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Hello Mr. Durante, you are a genius. This is certainly the case, neither the seller had noticed it nor me, because there was a layer of dirt that covered the marking. But as you can see, there is no doubt that it is a full-fledged FBL. I have cleaned the area and "eureka" with a toothbrush and soap.

        Thanks for your help, sir.

        With best wishes,
        Manuel
