    I think this is similar to one of my sc "Zimmermann" pattern PABs that looks very shiny, but in places it looks like the finish has started to be absorbed. Look for instance at the tips of some of the left side oakleaves, and the chest feathers. It isn't wear, but the finish has disappeared.
