    Deumer Tombak GAB

    Hey guys,
what do you think about the silver finish on this Deumer GAB? Looks a bit like painted to me, but as far as I know the original ones were spray painted... so could this be normal wear and tear or does it look like a re-finish to you? Do you have pictures of other badges of this type to compare?
    Thanks for your help!

Thanks, Nicola. I was able to find other images on the web that show a very similar finish with the same kind of wear, so with yours also showing that kind of chipped off paint I'm quite convinced now to have found a good Deumer badge

            Hi Dirk

It may be just my eye or the way the pictures were taken but, to me, the silver on the front of your tombac badge seems more "aluminum/silver" than the back on yours which is the same shade as both sides on mine. The finisih on my zinker(although different than on the tombac badge) also has the same shade/colour finish on both sides...No idea if its meaningful or not

All nice Deumers in this thread. I too like the finish on the one that tenten posted that started this thread, it is a finish type we have seen on other Deumer badges as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
