Hi Guys,
And here is a third one I wanted to share. Only a couple of months ago I discovered that this little bugger existed and I have exactly one example on file.
So you can imagin that this find also made me happy. Untill we discovered this 1pat. Daisy with hanging gun we only were familiar with the second pattern hollow Daisy that somehow is a very common hollow zinc PAB. This for sure isn't the case with this type and it makes me wonder where it should be situated in the production chronology, before or after the well known scooped solid Daisy zinkers.
The catch on this badge might give us an indication because it is in fact the catch to be found on the last of the hollow buntmetall 1pat. Daisies. This would lead me to believe that they used remaining buntmetall PAB catches on this transition badge before switching to the solid zinc production. The hinge on this badge is a match to the hinges found on the solid zinkers.
