I am sorry IMO but all of these GABs with that messed up leaf are fakes, including yours. It is not any different from the other fakes, even if the finish is more faded on yours. I can see all the things to recognize the fakes by on your example: messed up leaf, line on the bayonet tip, material aluminium, copper paint reverse finish ( it is not an actual layer of copper metal), artificial patina and artificial "verdigris".

The second GAB with the Assmann mark is NOT a Karneth design. It is the design of an unknown maker, who made about 7 variations.

Some nice finds but I can only agree with Frank on both GAB's.

The Juncker is a definitve fake easy to be recognized from the obverse by the die repair on the second oakleave on the left. They come in many forms but will always feature that flaw. You should read this thread again:

When I handled the box it had a small "w" marked Wurster GAB sitting in it but it was indeed the same guy that was offering the fake Juncker GAB.

Like Frank and Phil say, the so caled "cupal" GAB is one of the top quality fakes.
First thing I thought when I saw that box is that the zinc small W wurster is coming next. The box is so easy to recognize by the price tag. What a suprise to see that copy GAB in it (yes, I fell for the same one).
Looks like the guy sold the Wurster seperate and then put the cupal into it.
