      Indeed, it is correct and good. However, you need to do something about the zincpest that is present.

            Although I wouldn't clean any of my badges, what would be the best way to get of the "Zinc Pest" Chet? Cheers.

              Hi Tom, there have been a few threads on the forum about zink pest and the use of vaseline. I am sure a search will bring them up, which might be useful for you to see as they contain "before and after" photos But basically you coat the badge, leave it on for several hours then dab off the excess. The results are good.
